Getting Started
How do I get started with Sequa?+
When you first open Sequa, the onboarding flow will ask what you're looking to manage, a health condition, a protocol, or both. You don't need an account or email address. Just download and open.
Do I need to create an account?+
No. Sequa requires no account, no login, and no email address. Everything is stored locally on your device. The only optional account-based feature is iCloud sync, which uses your existing Apple ID.
How do I connect Apple HealthKit?+
During setup, Sequa will request access to sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, steps, and activity. You can change individual permissions at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Sequa.
How do I add a condition to track?+
During onboarding you can search and select from 113 conditions across 21 categories. Add or change conditions at any time from the Me tab → Manage conditions.
Which devices does Sequa support?+
Sequa is currently available on iPhone. iPad support is in development. Android is planned for a future release.
Protocols & Compounds
How do I add a compound or protocol?+
Go to the Protocol tab and tap "Manage stack". Search for your compound by name. Sequa's database covers 219 compounds across 20 categories. Configure dose, frequency, route, and injection days.
How does the reconstitution calculator work?+
In Protocol → Tools. Enter your vial strength (mg), BAC water volume (ml), and target dose. Sequa calculates exact draw volume in ml and syringe units on a U-100 insulin syringe.
What are the serum level curves and how accurate are they?+
Pharmacokinetic estimates calculated from each compound's half-life and your logged injection history. They show approximately where your levels are and where they're heading. Not blood test results, always verify with laboratory testing.
How do I run a what-if simulation?+
In Protocol → Levels → select a compound → What-If Scenarios. Choose the type of change (dose, frequency, skip, delay, add/remove), configure, and tap Run Simulation.
My compound isn't in the database. What do I do?+
Add a custom compound with your own name, dose, frequency, and route. Email support@sequahealth.com with the compound name to request it be added to the database.
Privacy & Data
Where is my data stored?+
All health and tracking data is stored in SwiftData on your iPhone only. Sequa has no servers that hold your data. We cannot access it.
How do I delete my data?+
Delete individual entries in the app, or delete the app entirely to permanently remove all data. If iCloud sync was enabled, also delete from Settings → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Sequa.
Can my insurer or employer access my Sequa data?+
No. Because your data is stored on-device only and not on any Sequa server, there is nothing to access, request, or subpoena from us.
Billing & Subscription
What's included in the free tier?+
Core symptom and protocol logging, condition and compound libraries, and basic weekly summaries. Pattern insights, serum curves, what-if simulation, doctor reports, experiments, and body's manual require Sequa Premium.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Sequa → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
How do I request a refund?+
All purchases are processed by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund.
